About Our Story
Desert Financial and Tax Service is a group of volunteers and employees dedicated to assisting individuals in achieving financial freedom. We also prepare FREE federal and state income tax returns.

Our volunteers are certified as financial coaches. All our volunteers are IRS certified volunteer income tax preparers.

Experienced
Our volunteers have been IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Certified for one to eight years.

Our volunteers are friendly and willing to assist you with any questions you might have. No question is ignored.
Community
Since 2014
Some of volunteers have been volunteering as income tax preparers since 2014. Our volunteers reside in the community. The majority are bilingual speakers – English/Spanish.
They understand the community and can communicate with residents and our winter visitors.
